Banner, offline screen, panels: three different sizes

A Twitch channel is not one image, it is a set, and each slot has its own dimensions. The profile banner is 1200 x 480 and sits behind your name at the top. The offline screen is 1920 x 1080 and plays in the video box when you are not streaming. Panels are 320 px wide blocks under your stream. Emotes and badges are tiny squares.

Most new streamers upload one image to the wrong slot and wonder why it looks stretched. Match each asset to its size and the channel looks put together instead of squashed. This tool is set to the 1200 x 480 banner by default; switch the dimensions if you are making the offline screen or a panel.

Keep the offline-screen badge in mind

When your channel is offline, Twitch drops a small 'Offline' label over the video player, usually low and toward the left. If you put your stream schedule or social handles down in that corner, the badge sits right on top of them.

The offline screen is prime space, it is the first thing a visitor sees when you are not live, so use it for your next-stream time, your socials, and a short line about what you do. Just keep that content out of the bottom-left and you avoid the overlap.
